Personal illustration project inspired by Clarice Lispector's book Doze Lendas Brasileiras.
The book consists in twelve brazilian folktales. This one is called "The Dangerous Yara", a tale about a river mermaid called Yara who sings to lure young men into the water, where they eventually disappear forever.
